As a result of the decision of the Managing Board at the World Congress of the World Association of Public Employment Services which took place in June 25-29, 2012 in Seoul Hungary has been elected as the Treasurer of the Association, thus being the holder of one of the highest positions within WAPES.

We have thought that certain key procedures should be improved or created in order for WAPES to comply with the legal requirements resulting form its new status (it has been converted to an international non-profit association with legal entity) and to make its working as transparent as possible, as is expected from a professional international world organisation.
